Healthy Families Hendry/Glades is a voluntary home visiting program for expecting and new parents in Hendry and Glades Counties.
During regularly scheduled home visits, parents receive encouragement, support, and learn about healthy child growth and development. Home visitors provide information on a wide range of topics including:
- How your baby will grow and develop
- Fun, age-appropriate activities
- Well baby care and immunization schedules
- Home safety for your baby
- Goal setting and dealing with everyday stress
- How to find community resources for you and your family
