Healthy Families Glades 

Being a parent is a big job. Healthy Families is here to help.

Healthy Families Glades is part of the nationally accredited Healthy Families Florida statewide home visiting program. Healthy Families provides free, voluntary, home visiting services that increase parenting knowledge and skills. During regularly scheduled home visits, parents receive encouragement and support and learn about healthy child growth and development. Home visitors provide information on a wide range of topics including:

  • How your baby will grow and develop
  • Fun, age-appropriate activities and discipline options
  • Well baby care and immunization schedules
  • Home safety for your baby
  • Goal setting and dealing with everyday stress
  • How to find community services for you and your family
